Critter Cruise

60 minutes – Annapolis

Offered in partnership with the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park. Meets STEM and Environmental Literacy standards. Hands on learning with “critters” of the Chesapeake Bay including crabs, eels and oysters. Students visit interactive stations around the boat while they cruise along local waterways. Suggested Grade Level: All Ages. Minimums may apply.

Chesapeake 101

3 hours – Annapolis

Offered in partnership with the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park. Chesapeake 101 has indoor and outdoor hands on STEM activities. Chesapeake 101 includes a 2 hour program at either the Museum or Park campus and a 40 minute narrated cruise on the Harbor Queen. Meets STEM and Environmental Literacy standards. Programs are booked through Watermark. Students will put their problem solving skills in a team building activity as well as participate in 3 stations of your choosing (full list provided upon request)

  • Museum tour and Oyster tonging activity
  • Exploring oyster reef critters
  • Oyster dissection
  • Watershed pollution activity
  • Seining for life in the creek – in hip waiters (provided)
  • Crabbing and crab ecology – warmer weather only

Eco Cruise

40 minutes – Annapolis

Environmental Education cruise with live narration, offered in partnership with the Annapolis Maritime Museum & Park. Meets STEM and Environmental Literacy standards. 

Limited to large groups 150 – 250 people.

Aquatic Adventures

– Baltimore –

Spend the day on and under the sea!  Watermark and the National Aquarium package what you learn at the Aquarium with an opportunity to get out on the water on a Baltimore Harbor Cruise. The 45-minute cruise explores Baltimore’s harbor treasures, the important history of the waterfront and its role today as a working port. Eat lunch on the boat while you cruise past Federal Hill, Fell’s Point, Fort McHenry and much more,
