Celebrating Unforgettable Journeys for 50 years!
The students thoroughly enjoyed "The Challenge of the Pirate Quest!: Kudos to Pirate Mary and the Pirate Captain for keeping the students interest for two hours! Not once did I hear anyone say "I'm bored," which is a common complaint among 4th graders whenever they are pulled away from video games. The parent chaperones were impressed also!
Thank you and your company for a wonderful field trip and learning experience over the many years that my class visited you! I have changed grade levels and no longer am teaching 4th grade, where we study Maryland. I am sad to not be returning in the spring with you! I hope to bring my family to one of your tours over the summer! Again, thanks for all of the wonderful learning experiences and memories over the years!
"The Naval Academy was great! John Paul Jones's crypt was a highlight for my students. I so enjoyed Squire Frederick's presentation; walking with him anywhere is worth a million bucks, he is so knowledgable and entertaining! We will be back EVERY YEAR! I received tons of compliments from parents who joined us, and many had never even been to the State House or the USNA, and they live right here in Shady Side! The best field trip, hands down, in my 20 years of teaching! How early should we book for next year??? Keep up the outstanding work you are doing! Who wouldn't love Annapolis after a walking tour with you???"
“The tour that Watermark helped me plan was a huge success. Not only did we get to learn more about the beautiful city and history of Baltimore, we also got to ride in style on one of Watermark's pristine boats. Overall we give our tour two thumbs up!”
"I want to thank you for the great field trip! Please pass on to our tour guides that we thought they were wonderful and the students had a fabulous time. Everything went smoothly, the guides added great information to our learning and the rain held off. Thanks again for all your help with the trip!"
"I wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience I have had with Watermark tours. I am a fourth grade teacher and I have been using Watermark to book our annual field trip for the past three years. I have always had a great experience as Claudette is wonderful to work with and the programs are awesome for my students. We just got back from our trip today and we had such a good time that I wanted to thank you and our tour guides for making our trip so memorable. We had Mistress Laura, Mistress Carol, and Mistress Marian and we loved them all. My students cannot stop talking about all the things they learned and stories they heard. This was our best year yet. I was in Mistress Laura's tour and she was simply amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
"Pat T. was excellent! She shared a lot of information while keeping the students and parents alike thoroughly engaged throughout the tour. Her humor, poise and storytelling is compelling!"
“The walking tour was excellent. The tour guides did a wonderful job telling about colonial Annapolis. They kept the students interested with the many stories and items that they shared with them. The students came back with a wealth of knowledge about the colonial capital.”
"We had an excellent experience this year on our tour. All of the guides were spectacular and very knowledgeable about the content for which they were presenting. They seemed genuinely excited about their work and the students were engaged the whole time. Students continue to use the information they learned on the tour as a source in our classroom in talking about Colonial Maryland. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!"
