Students on a homeschool field trip in Annapolis.
Homeschool Groups
Since all our walking tours in Annapolis can be reserved privately, they are a great option for homeschool field trips. We maintain small guide-to-group ratios to keep the tour interactive, whether your group is one family or many. Pair a walking tour with a cruise for a full Annapolis experience. For example, our 40-minute Annapolis Harbor & U.S. Naval Academy Cruise offers an educational narration covering history, ecology, and beyond. Learn more about our popular combinations.
Parent-Sponsored Field Trip
Similarly, we offer parent-sponsored field trips! Whether your group is from the same classroom, neighborhood, or club, we have many land and sea field trips in Maryland to choose from. From the Civil War to the Bay’s ecology, our subjects work with the state’s social studies and STEM curriculums. For example, Annapolis by Land & Sea touches on both!
Join a Public Event
Our public walking tours and narrated cruises are educational and fun for the whole family. For example, our 45-minute Baltimore Harbor Cruise is a great way to experience Maryland history. In fact, the narration will share where to spot the landmarks you are learning about as you cruise!
Virtual Field Trip
If you cannot visit Annapolis or Baltimore in person…visit them virtually! We have created a number of virtual field trips to choose from: Colonial Stroll, United States Naval Academy, African American Heritage, and Women of Achievement to name a few. Each one features an interactive live session on your school’s preferred virtual platform with one of our colonial-attired guides. Check out this preview of our Virtual Colonial Stroll in Annapolis.
