Summer Camp Ideas for Camp Leaders

While parents look to Summer Camps to entertain and engage their children for the summer, Summer Camps look to Watermark for activities for their campers. We offer youth pricing and customized itineraries for campers in downtown Annapolis and the Baltimore Inner Harbor. Below are our top Watermark picks for summer campers:

  • Pirate Cruises. Argh Matey! We have two interactive Pirate experiences to accommodate different age groups. Both feature performances by our talented pirates and engage campers in a teamwork oriented activity by inviting them to join our Pirate crew. Choose Pirates of the Chesapeake for your younger campers (ages 4-8) or Challenge of the Pirate Quest for 4th-9th graders. Don your eyepatch and step aboard for a lighthearted and entertaining adventure on the sea.
  • Critter Cruise. Our friends from the Annapolis Maritime Museum bring their critters onboard Harbor Queen for a touchy feely and interactive cruise with the Chesapeake Bay’s coolest critters like crabs, oysters and eels. Critters and campers alike are treated to a cruise around Annapolis while the exhibits are explored. Only on Harbor Queen…only in Annapolis!
  • Pizza Party Cruise. A DJ spins music and entertains your campers on a fun pizza party cruise. Includes 2 slices of pizza and 1 drink per guest. The boat belongs to your group during this private cruise. Offered in Annapolis and in Baltimore. Serious fun! We can accommodate groups of 50-200 for the ultimate pizza party on the water.
  • The Staple in Baltimore: 45-Minute Baltimore Harbor Cruise. See Baltimore from the water…it’s a beautiful perspective on Charm City! The recorded narration shares history of the City, the Harbor, Fort McHenry and the inspiring sights along the waterfront. Baltimore is a working port best enjoyed by boat! Did you know it’s cooler on the water too? Beat the summer heat by cruising around on Annapolitan II. Snack bar and restrooms on board.
  • The Staple in Annapolis: 40-Minute Annapolis Harbor & USNA Cruise. A must-do Annapolis activity! The easiest way to get on the water in Annapolis is a Harbor Queen cruise. Cruising in her 45th season, Queen and her crew specialize in youth cruises. The recorded narration gives a historical overview of the waterfront, the Chesapeake Bay and the United States Naval Academy. Catch a glimpse of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge while you’re out cruising. For many kids in our area, Harbor Queen is their first boat ride!
  • Historic Ghost Walk. The ghosts come out at night…and during the day! Yes, your campers can enjoy an Annapolis ghost tour during the day. Our ghost guides turn up the spooky vibes even during daylight as they take your campers on a walking tour of the historic district’s most haunted spots. Our tales are based on real reports and your group will be treated (or is it tricked?) to a private tour. Special lighted necklaces are handed out to guests at the beginning of the tour to protect all from the spirits.
  • Summer Camp = Fun. Watermark = Fun. Summer Camp + Watermark = Fun for Campers & Easy Plans for Counselors.
